The Impact of Economic Growth, Education Level, and Inflation Rate on Income Inequality in Malaysia

Purpose: The goal of this study is to look at the determinants that contribute income inequality in Malaysia. Methodology: time series spans years 1990 - 2019, with 30 observations. empirical findings were obtained using three important econometrics tests through E-views software: Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test and Phillips-Perron (PP) test, JJ Cointegration Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) test. Expected Findings: result reveals economic growth, education level, inflation rate have long-run short-run relationships Practical Implications: government needs implement introduce new ways solutions increasing enhancing quality system could aid reducing country’s inequality. Originality/Value: Findings will assist policymakers determining major drivers are beneficial
